Welcome to Poppy! Please read on to learn the rules and restrictions that govern your use of our website(s), products, services, and applications (the "Services"), including, without limitation, any request to receive information about, or to purchase any of the products made available through our website(s) (each, a "Product"). Your purchase of any Products will also be governed by any other terms made available to you during the sales process.

General Overview 

The offer is aimed at natural or legal persons who have their domicile or registered office in Switzerland. The products are only delivered to addresses located in Switzerland.

The offer is valid as long as it appears in the online store while stocks last. Price and assortment changes are possible at any time. The images presented in advertisements, prospectuses, the online store, etc., and all the information concerning the products, are used for illustration only and are not contractual. The specific indications on the product packaging are decisive.

Price

Prices are in Swiss francs, value-added tax (VAT) included, and, if applicable, advance recycling tax (TAR) included. The price indicated in the online store at the time of the order is valid. Additional chargeable services such as delivery appear separately in the shopping cart and the invoice.

Ordered

The display of products in the online store is not legally binding. This is an online catalog presented for information only, to invite customers to order the product by this means. Poppyshop.ch reserves the right to restrict delivery quantities for specific products.

After transmission of the order, the customer automatically receives an acknowledgment of receipt, confirming that the order has reached poppyshop.ch. The customer can no longer complete or cancel his order once processed in our logistics center. No minimum order amount is requested.

Conclusion of the contract

The contract is concluded after processing the order in the logistics center of Poppyshop.ch. As soon as the order is ready to be shipped from the logistics center, the customer confirms the delivery date by email.

Poppyshop.ch may, without justification, refuse all or part of the order. In this case, the customer is informed and any payments already made are refunded. Any other claim is excluded. In particular, the unavailable products are not delivered subsequently. Products temporarily unavailable cannot be reserved.

Shipping Policy 

Delivery zone

The customer's delivery address must be in the general Geneva,Switzerland area. 

General

Online products, unless otherwise specified, are delivered within a maximum of 15 working days upon receipt of payment.

It is possible to set a specific delivery time within the delivery time range during delivery. This service may be subject to additional charges. A time lag beyond the control of poppyshop.ch (traffic, breakdown, etc.) does not give the right to any claim for damages or any other claim of the customer.

No deliveries are made on Sundays, Mondays, or on official national and cantonal holidays.

If the customer is not on-site at the time of delivery and has not given specific instructions for delivery, the goods are deposited. On particular instructions, the delivery can be left in front of the door of the house or apartment, at the reception, or in front of the company's entrance. Depending on the delivery window, the goods can be delivered to a neighbor living in the same building if the customer has mentioned his address and telephone number in the "Order Notes" section when ordering. 

Pick up at the point of sale.

It is possible to request to collect the goods directly from our shop. The customer chooses the item "Point of sale withdrawal" as the delivery address to do this.

Once the order is ready, the customer receives a withdrawal notice.

The customer is invited to confirm the withdrawal of the goods by his signature. Any liability is expressly declined for damages suffered by the customer in the event of loss, theft, abuse, etc., in connection with the withdrawal process.

The products ordered must be collected during the collection hours, from Tuesday to Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Shipping cost

Deliveries range from 10chf- 20chf depending on the delivery location within Geneva. 

Refund Policy 

If the customer is entitled to any refunds or credits, they will be credited to the bank account or credit card. Poppyshop.ch vouchers cannot be sold or auctioned. 

Only one voucher can be used per order.No modification of order possible, neither addition nor withdrawal: only an order cancellation is likely subject to a penalty of 15.- for administration fees.

For all reimbursement requests that are not strictly justified, an order can be canceled subject to a penalty of 15 CHF.- for administrative costs. 

Up to 5 days of late delivery is not considered sufficient justification. We do not sell products of first necessity. 

Complaints

If products are delivered with visible damage to the packaging or content, the customer must immediately notify the delivery person and refuse receipt, notwithstanding his warranty rights for defects. The customer must receive a damage confirmation notice from the delivery person. All transport damage must also be reported immediately to poppyshop.ch

In addition, it is the customer's responsibility to check the products ordered upon receipt immediately and store them correctly (in particular plant products). In the event of faults or discrepancies concerning the order, it is advisable to notify poppyshop.ch customer service on the same day of delivery by email to hello@poppyshop.ch. Subsequently, only hidden defects can still be the subject of a complaint and must be immediately communicated after their discovery to the customer service of poppyshop.ch. Poppyshop.ch reserves the right to require proof of the defect.

Payment options

Payments must be made in Swiss francs.

Electronic means of payment

The accepted payment methods are credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Postfinance). In case of payment by credit card, the debit takes place at the time of the order.

Purchase by bank transfer

The order is put in preparation upon receipt of payment. The 15 working day deadline for delivery applies upon receipt of payment.

The customer must be domiciled or headquartered in Switzerland for the purchase by bank transfer.

Refunds, assets, credit

If the customer is entitled to any refunds or credits, they will be credited to the bank account or credit card.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

Swiss substantive law applies to the legal relationship between poppyshop.ch and the customer, excluding the provisions on legal conflicts and the Vienna Convention.

The place of jurisdiction is Geneva, Switzerland.
